I needed a replacement collar and, they actually had it in stock when other places didn’t. I mean, that was a relief. Ordering was quick, and I got an update soon after. Happy overall... saved me from having to keep searching around.

Overall, it works well and I think that’s fair to say. Most days it’s quiet and does what it’s supposed to do. The only thing I’ve noticed is it can be a little noisy when it’s closing, but nothing too serious.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking about buying this pet door: I liked it at first, but once I started having issues, the warranty process turned into way more of a hassle than I expected. It was slow, confusing, and getting a return sorted wasn’t simple either. I had to go back and forth more than seemed necessary. I’m not saying it’s the worst company out there, but based on my experience, I’d be cautious before buying unless they make their warranty and returns process a lot easier.

I mean, it’s been through some heavy rain and it still works just fine. No issues so far, which is a nice surprise.

I figured the checkout would be straightforward, and it was. Everything loaded without any issues, and my payment went through quickly, so I was done in no time.

I bought this from hitecpet.com it seemed fine in the beginning. After a few weeks though, it started acting up out of nowhere. Some days it works, other days it just doesn’t, and I’m mentally drained from dealing with it. For what it cost, I really expected it to be more reliable. It’s not completely useless, but it’s definitely been frustrating.

I really wanted this to work because my dog has done fine with other pet gadgets in the past, but this one was a struggle for us. It does work sometimes, but getting him comfortable with it was a pain. The instructions felt basic, and the noise scared him right away, so that set us back a lot. One pet will walk up and it opens like it’s supposed to, then the next one just stands there waiting while nothing happens. I reached out to their support team earlier this week because I was having an issue, the whole thing dragged on much longer than it should have. I sent the first email in the morning, then waited quite a while just to get a reply that didn’t really answer my question.
Over the next couple of days, I kept having to explain the same problem again, and I never got a clear update or even a simple apology. By the end of it, it really felt like they just wanted me to stop asking. After dealing with that, I don’t see myself using them again.

The product details were pretty much right, but the sizing info was a little unclear to me. I ended up double-checking before placing my order just to be safe.

I bought some extra accessories for my HiTec Pet setup, thinking they’d work since the site made them seem compatible. To be fair, the accessories look decent enough, which almost makes it more annoying that half of them didn’t actually fit right. I ended up having to deal with returns, and support took longer than I expected to get back to me. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely more hassle than it should’ve been.

I do like the programmable settings now that I’ve got it mostly figured out, but getting there took longer than I expected. The instructions weren’t super clear, so I had to mess around with it for a while before it made sense. It works fine now, just not quite as smoothly as I was hoping...

Not saying it’s a scam, but I did expect more variety for different needs and budgets. Some of the products looked okay, just not enough options for me to feel like I found the right fit.

A couple pages were kinda slow to load for me too, and the layout didn’t really make it obvious where I was supposed to go next. I ended up giving up after a while. Not a great shopping experiance.

I bought this for my pet door, it does work fine when the battery is fully charged. The problem is the battery life has been disappointing. I feel like I’m constantly checking it, charging it, or dealing with it way more than I thought I would. At this point I’m just worn out from products that are supposed to make life easier but end up needing attention all the time. Maybe I got a weak one, but for the price I expected it to be more reliable. It’s not useless, just more frustrating than I hoped.

The actual order was fine inside, so that was good, but the packaging was kinda rough. The box was crushed on one side and the tape was barely hanging on tbh. For the price, I just expected it to be packed a little better. Not the worst thing ever, but defintely a bit dissapointing
